Benjamin 'Logan' Gibbard (born August 11, 1976 in Bremerton, Washington) is an American musician known for being a member of several successful indie bands. He is the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, known for his project ¡All-Time Quarterback! and also his first band, Pinwheel.

Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard Married: The indie-rock ‘It’ couple tied the knot near Seattle on Sunday.

It’s official: Actress-turned-indie-rock-chanteuse Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard are married. The pair tied the knot near Seattle on Sunday, her rep confirmed to People.

Deschanel, 29, and Gibbard, 33, got engaged last December, after dating for about a year. According to People, Gibbard gave the “(500) Days of Summer” star a three-carat diamond and platinum Neil Lane ring when he proposed. Deschanel had previously dated actor/musician Jason Schwartzman (who also got married this year) and Mickey Madden from Maroon 5.
